The Investors Relations area (IR) is the link between the Company and the market, including analysts, investors and shareholders, aimed at establishing clear and accurate communication. For such, it keeps several contact channels, such as website, telephone, and email. The department annually discloses an event agenda and participates in meetings promoted by the Association of Investment Analysts and Professionals of the Securities Market (APIMEC). Its assignments include coordinating the work of production and disclosure of annual, quarterly and any other mandatory reports. It is also responsible for making communications to the market, such as relevant facts, which are also sent to the Securities Commission (CVM) of BM&FBOVESPA and investors.
In 2010, IR’s website had 72,479 visits. Service was also provided through phone, email, and in person. The professionals also joined 21 national and international conferences.
