Launches
The 108 projects launched in 2010 stood for R$ 7.6 of the total PSV. This is a 34% increase over the previous year. Cyrela was been responsible for 78.3% of launches, a slight fall of 0.4% from 2009, meaning R$ 5.9 billion. Units launched were 27,589–a 4.4% increase over the 26,417 units from 2009, corresponding to the construction of 1,877,862 m2 of floor area (raise of 5.6%) with an average value of R$ 4 thousand per m².
Projects launched in Northern, Northeastern and Southern regions of the country stood for 35% of the PSV in 2010. Considering the income range, the highlight was the share of upscale real estates, responsible for 41.1% of total launches in the year.
